Our house sits at the edge of De Dennen forest, a five-minute cycle from the beach. Large south-facing garden, fully private, with a play wood right next door.

The comfort of home, in the middle of the Texel woods
Underfloor heating in the spacious living room, a modern kitchen with oven and dishwasher, and a walk-in rain shower that properly warms you up after a day at the beach. The big garden faces south and is screened all round, so nobody looks in. The forest starts next to it: building dens and bouncing on the trampoline until dinner is ready.
Between Den Burg and De Koog, walking distance from the sea. What we hear most is that guests truly unwind here, and that they come back.
Why guests feel at home straight away
For families
A trampoline in the garden, a play wood next door and a Tripp Trapp indoors. The park is quiet for traffic, so the children can head outside without worry.
For couples
A lounge sofa on the terrace, forest all around and the big OLED TV in the evening. Out of season, mostly what you hear is birds.
With your dog
Two dogs are welcome. The garden is enclosed and you walk straight into De Dennen forest, no road to cross.

The bungalow stands on the edge of De Dennen, inside Dunes of Texel National Park. From here it is a five-minute cycle to the beach and a quarter of an hour to Den Burg or De Koog. Walking and cycling paths start around the corner.
